This cardiovascular group is well established in the medical community and work in a 765 licensed bed hospital with their office just five minutes away. This group has a large established referral base and a large volume of vascular patients in need of endovascular and surgical procedures. The vascular surgeon would have a good start-up practice and an opportunity to build a very busy vascular program. The practice plans to grow their vascular program to (2) vascular surgeons in the next 1-2 years. The group has a new state-of-the-art vascular suite for endovascular procedures and a non-invasive vascular lab. The vascular surgeon will be able to do in office non-invasive vascular procedures and invasive angiographic arterial and venous procedures.
The community has a large number of dialysis dependent renal failure patients who need percutaneous new dialysis access and revascularization procedures. In September 2008, the hospital opened a new state-of-the-art Heart & Vascular Center equipped with (3) vascular labs and the vascular surgeon will have the opportunity to do all endovascular procedures including aortic endograft and carotid stenting. The hospitals new imaging department has the latest diagnostic technology including a MRI scanner and state-of-the-art 64-slice dual source CT scanner.
Candidates will receive a competitive salary. Benefit package includes malpractice, live, and group health insurance for physician and family; vacation; CME; 401K; pension plan; relocation expense; and professional dues. Partnership available after one year. Vascular call would be shared with two Vascular Surgeons and two Cardiovascular Surgeons in the community.
