Current payer mix is 60% Medicare and 40% private insurance. Practice is running a 30%-35% overhead and a collection rate in the MGMA 90th percentile. Practice has been opened 25 years and well established in the community. Physician would enter into practice through a twelve-month guarantee. Amount of first year guarantee would be determined by physician's total experience and will comply with median figures set forth in the MGMA's Physician Compensation and Production Survey: 2008. All guarantees incorporate a three-year payback. Guarantees are variable depending on physician's current compensation. Call schedule would be 1:4 at first until the current Dr. steps down completely after the patient volumes have been transferred to new Urologist. At which time the call schedule will be 1:3 sharing call with 2 other Urologist practicing in a neighboring community. The current Dr estimated over the past 25 years being called in after hours only one time per quarter.
