Job Job Recruiting
Our Hospital, an award-winning 50-bed community hospital located in beautiful Blue Ridge, Georgia, seeks a BC/BE Urologist to establish a full-time private practice. With a five-year growth rate of 15%, Fannin County was recently listed as one of the nation's "Top Ten" counties for new home starts. Located less than two hours by 4-lane highway from metro Atlanta, and even closer to historic Chattanooga, Blue Ridge is nestled in the foothills of the mountains of the same name. The Appalachian Trail begins in Fannin County, and local rivers provided the venue for the 1996 Summer Olympics' white water competition. An outdoor paradise, Blue Ridge has been "discovered" and is growing quickly.
There is not currently a full-time Urologist in the area (primary service area of almost 25,000; secondary service area approaching 50,000). A modern, recently expanded facility with an excellent reputation, Our Hospital is set up for urology procedures in its OR and is willing to establish mobile lithotripsy service if desired. The hospital is ready to provide the following for a surgeon interested in establishing a private practice or possible employment:
Competitive first year Income Guarantee or Salary
Relocation expense allowance
Commencement bonus
Marketing and CME allowances
Possible student debt loan assistance
Assistance with practice start-up and provider enrollment
Our Hospital, a 50-bed general acute-care facility, is Medicare and Medicaid certified, and is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) and the American College of Radiology (ACR).
The hospital has served the Tri-State area of North Georgia, Southeast Tennessee, and Southwest North Carolina with quality care since 1977 and offers comfortably appointed private rooms, a five-bed Intensive Care Unit, a Birthing Center, and an Outpatient Specialty Clinic.
The 24-hour Emergency Department is staffed by physicians and nurses trained in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Our facility was recently recognized by the State of Georgia for a Quality and Patient Safety Initiative.
