Excellent opportunity for a Urologist in Alaska's largest city. 85K population.
There is a strong need in the community for a new physician. Incoming physician will have the option to join an existing practice, multi-speciality clinic or establish an independent practice. A recently conducted physician supply analysis projects the need for 1 to 2 additional urology physicians in the service area. Hospital has 170-beds and is the primary referral center for residents of Alaskas interior.
Reimbursements in the area are exceptional as there is no significant managed care.
This area is considered the perfect jumping off point for exploring this beautiful state. You can explore the vast Interior at your leisure, fly north to Prudhoe Bay or the Eskimo village of Pt. Barrow; drive south to visit Denali National Park and Mt. McKinley, North Americas tallest peak; or go further south and spend time along Alaskas coast fishing, kayaking, or just sightseeing. It is a wonderful blend of city amenities with frontier attitude.
