The Department of Surgery of Scott & White and The Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine is seeking an additional Trauma Surgeon to join an established group. Scott & White Memorial Hospital is an ACS-verified Level I trauma with 2000 trauma admissions yearly, and more than 400 trauma SICU admissions. The position will involve attending on a busy emergency general surgery service (approximately 300 cases per surgeon/yr) and the SICU. Trauma call will average 1/5. A commitment to teaching medical students and surgical residents is required. Research experience or potential and fellowship training in trauma are desirable.

A recent expansion on the main campus includes new Emergency Trauma Bay and ICU facilities.
