Practice Description: Practice Model: Employed with hospital. Excellent opportunity for BC/BE Surgeon to provide needed services to small community. Competitive salary plus production and incentives and generous recruitment package. Practice Profile:Approximately 300 surgeries per year; most common surgical cases: laparoscopic cholecystectomy, total vaginal hysterectomy, appendectomy, cesarean section, cataract extractions, hand surgeries, arthroscopies (knee/shoulder) DNC w/ hysteroscopy ACLS, ATLS certifications required. Payor Mix:Commercial 31.3%; Managed care 0%; Medicaid 9%; Medicare 49.3%; Self 6.5% Service Area:9,191 Call Schedule: Negotiable Affiliated Hospital Stats: Hospital is a Critical Access Hospital with 25 licensed beds and an additional 43 Long-term Care Beds. PCMH is a Level IV Trauma Center, offering inpatient and same day surgery, is JCAHO accredited and partners with local physician clinics. Air Life of Greeley, 24-hour Emergency Dept, Diagnostic Lab and Radiology Services. There are 80 volunteers which help support operations. Hospital serves as a WWAMI (Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, Idaho) clerkship site. Hospital Staff: 170 employees, 5 Active Staff physicians and 40 Visiting Specialists.
