General Surgery Opportunity in the Philadelphia, PA The largest primary care and specialty physician network in Delaware County offering an array of specialty and subspecialty services is presently looking for a general surgeon to join a busy general surgical practice. We are looking for someone who is well-trained, hard-working, has solid general surgical skills and is a team-player. This position works in a surgical group with backup. The candidate needs to be comfortable with a wide range of general surgical procedures. Call is approximately 1 in 4 weekends and 1 day a week. Responsibilities include rounds, ED coverage and office time. Laparoscopic skills are a plus. Candidates must be Board Certified/ Board Eligible. Located 20 minutes to downtown Philadelphia, this 213 bed not for profit facility admits over 11,000 patients, and treats approximately 40,000 ED patients. In 2006, the hospital was named a J.D.
