General Surgery Upstate NY-Advanced Laparoscopic/General Surgeon for 2-Person Independent Group Opportunity to practice with two excellent surgeons whose independent practice is located on the campus. The group is running at 100% capacity, as the 3rd partner retired in August leaving a 30-year practice. Given current volume and the fact that the retiring surgeon did a large amount of the minimally-invasive work in town, a vibrant practice can be built immediately.
Financial/Incentive Package: Very competitive income guarantee, followed by partnership after 1 year with flexible purchase of hard assets. Medical Malpractice, 6 weeks vacation, CME stipend.
Facility: 160-bed, full-service community hospital located in the upstate New York city of Binghamton. Lourdes is complimented with 9 surgical suites, ICU, surgical step-down and ambulatory surgery. A full range of surgical procedures are performed on campus including neurosurgery, orthopedics, thoracic, vascular, colorectal, breast and general B&B cases. The hospital has over 400 independent specialists and primary care physicians on its medical staff.
