40+ surgeon multispecialty group located in the Hartford, Connecticut area has an opportunity available for a well rounded and trained Breast Surgeon to accommodate growth in the area! Join a department of three full- and one part-time dedicated Breast Surgeons with the support of two General Surgeons who perform some Breast cases. Looking to expand their Breast Cancer program which encompasses three hospitals in the Greater Hartford area, and our physicians manage the Partnership for Breast Care at Hartford Hospital, an 819-bed, state-of-the-art tertiary care center affiliated with The University of Connecticut. This comprehensive breast care program includes weekly Breast conference through a multidisciplinary team. The position will include 100% Breast Surgery with no general call responsibilities. Offering technology to perform in-office ultrasound and core biopsies. As well, the ability to perform Radiology-assisted stereotactic biopsy. Academic and clinical research potential is available
