An experienced radiologist can easily do thoughtful, thorough interpretations during work hours ? there is no overtime, except under most exceptional, pre approved circumstances. We do about 20 MRIs per day. The MRI is a GE 1.5T Horizon system; we do mostly musculoskeletal work, and proficiency with joint disease is essential.
We do about 15 CT scans per day. Ultrasound volume is variable, with general, vascular, OB, and breast cases. MR, CT and ultrasound cases are read on a PACS system.
