40-60% Neuroradiology, Easy Access to NYC, No Night Call Ever
Expanding private Radiology practice in Downstate New York is looking for an additional Neuroradiologist due to an increasing caseload in that area. Your caseload will consist of 40-60% Neuroradiology studies with the remainder being of mix of other General Diagnostic Radiology cases depending on your specific training and interests. You will not be required to handle Mammography cases or Interventional procedures unless you request those cases. You will be joining a twenty member group which practices at both hospital and outpatient center sites in the downstate area.
The group utilizes a PACS system at all their facilities. No call is required during the week (they have a Nighthawk service starting at 6:00 PM seven days a week). Weekend call is 1:6 and consists of reading those cases are in the hospital for a few hours during the day, with no evening call responsibilities. Initial salary will be in the $275-325K range with $450K+ at partner. They offer a full benefits package complete including malpractice coverage with a prepaid tail.
