Practice Interventional Radiology, 100% of the time with a prestigious academic institution. Someone with some tenure, who gets excited to teach and is interested in a tenure track. They are looking for someone who can work closely with the Director to develop the business side of it all - a Section Chief for the group. They have numerous Angio Suites. 400-bed tertiary care teaching hospital that is also a Level I Trauma Center, and a 250-bed VA Hospital. The Radiology department and hospitals continually work together to build/maintain state-of-the-art facilities for clinical work as well as research. Medium size city with all the amenities of a large city except the traffic. Board Certification Required. Job will be performed in Hospital. Salary is competitive. Full health and dental benefits for member and family, retirement plan through University and second plan through state. University provides full tuition for dependent children up to first undergraduate degree. 7 weeks vacation with 2 additional weeks for CME.
