Specifically, the Pulmonary and Critical Care Department, comprised of 4 physicians, provides comprehensive care for patients suffering from lung disease.

The physicians are skilled in the diagnosis and management of lung diseases including asthma, emphysema, pneumonia, pulmonary fibrosis, sleep disorders, the evaluation of symptoms of cough, chest pain and breathlessness. The pulmonologists are responsible for much of the care including comprehensive lung function testing, exercise testing, bronchoscopy evaluation of sleep disorders at the High Desert Sleep Disorder Center in Bend, pediatric lung care and pediatric sleep disorder management.
