CCM/Intensivist Physician sought for expanding program in this 315-bed hospital with a service area of 450,000 residents. The hospital is a regional referral center with a wide array of services including cardiovascular surgery, bypass surgery, cardiac rehabilitation, neurosurgery and many more. The ICU currently has 16 beds plus 8 overflow beds. The Intensivist program provides services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Physicians work 12 hour shifts running 7a-7p and 7p 7a in a block schedule of 4-7 on/off. On average, physicians work 15-16 shifts/month. This is an employed position with a large Hospitalist/CCM group offering an hourly rate of $130 plus full benefits.
