Pulmonary/Critical Care physician sought to join large MSG as there is no Pulmonology coverage in the area. Patients are being referred out to Champaign, 45 minutes away. There is currently one Critical Care physician at the hospital who will share coverage with the new provider. Call will be 1:3. This group owns its own ancillary services and medical building which increase the profits of the group. Compensation package includes a competitive two year income guarantee plus a 2 year partnership track. There is a buy-in to become partner that allows you to share in the profits of the group. As there is no pulmonary coverage in the area, you can expect the practice to grow rapidly. There is also the opportunity for sleep medicine, if desired.
Practice opportunity is located in East Central Illinois, near the Indiana state line. They are within driving distance to some of the hottest destinations in the Midwest, including Chicago, Indianapolis, and St. Louis. This city is home to over 30,000 people, and is a highly desirable place to reside. Sports, arts, recreation, entertainment, antiquing, shopping - you name it, they most likely have it.
