Pulmonary/Critical Care physician sought for hospital employed position. This practice will be consist of 60% pulmonary and 40% critical care. Sleep medicine is also available if desired. Call will be 1:3. Hospital will employ the physician for the first year to work in conjunction with a solo pulmonologist in town. After one year, the physician will have the option to partner with the current pulmonologist or remain a hospital employee. The existing pulmonologist is planning to slow down in the next few years, so there is also the goal of someone taking over his practice. Hospital is offering a starting salary of $315K plus full benefits, sign-on bonus, relocation and possible student loan repayment.
