Pulmonary/Critical Care Position with Sleep potential - St. Marys Regional Medical Center in Enid, Oklahoma is recruiting a Pulmonologist to join an established solo practitioner. The practice is currently seeing 20 30 patients per day in office, and 15 25 patients in hospital. The incoming physician will follow their own patients in the ICU, and may be called on for consults as needed. There is also the potential to practice sleep medicine as well. The practice maintains a single office location and refers to two area hospitals. This will be an overhead sharing arrangement, with the hospital providing a collections guarantee and a signing bonus.
St. Marys Hospital is a 245-bed facility and is one of two hospitals in Enid. It serves a ten county service area with a population of approximately 200,000. Most specialties are currently represented on the medical staff. Enid is located in northwestern Oklahoma about 80 miles north of Oklahoma City and 120 miles from Tulsa. The community has a population of around 55,000 and has four seasons. The average annual snowfall is around 8.2 inches and the average January temperature is 38.5 degrees. There are public and private schools in the city, plus a vocational school and two institutes of higher learning. Most religions are represented in the city. There are several golf courses, numbers lakes within an hours drive. The cultural activities include the Enid-Phillips Symphony Orchestra, Gaslight Theatre, and several museums. Vance Air Force Base is the largest employer and is the training base to the worlds top pilots.
