A Psychiatrist is needed for a state contract at a Correctional Unit in central Virginia. Residency graduate, BC/BE in Psychiatry is accepted. Must have Virginia license and DEA. You will be needed for up to 4 hours per week and will need to be available 24 hours a day by phone. You will be performing evaluations and provide follow-up recommendations and psychopharmacological treatment for inmates referred for symptoms which indicate the presence of psychiatric, psychological, behavioral, emotional, cognitive, and/or neurological disorders. Competitive wages, travel/lodging and malpractice coverage is provided.
