Join a psychiatrist in a thriving practice consisting of himself (a child and adolescent psychiatrist who sees all ages), a nurse practitioner and 4 counselors, plus administrative and billing staff. The psychiatrist does initial evaluations (in conjunction with a counselor) and medication follow-ups. He has patients in the local hospital, so he does inpatient and outpatient work.
There is plenty of work for another psychiatrist that can either be an adult or a child and adolescent psychiatrist. Work can be mostly outpatient except when on call. The inpatients of the practice have to be covered.
