The hospital is seeking 3 child/adolescent psychiatrists to join a group of four full-time providers. The position results from a need to expand the child/adolescent and the acute residential units. Each physician is dedicated to an individual unit. Call is 1:6. Each physician currently takes full-week call, and cross covers all the units. Experienced support team includes therapists, nurses, educators, and utilization review.

The hospital includes a children's unit that serves patients from 3 years to 12 years of age. Patient average length of stay is around six months. The unit is being expanded to accommodate 26 children. The hospitals 2 adolescent units can accommodate up to 44 patients. The units serve patients from 12 years to 18 years of age. The average length of stay in the adolescent units is around 3 to 4 months.The acute care hospital has just expanded to 20 beds.
