BC Adult Psychiatrist Needed in MA The facility is located in eastern Massachusetts and has a need beginning in late October for a board certified psychiatrist to treat adults in an inpatient setting.
The ALOS is about 6 or 7 days. The locums will be responsible for 8 to 10 patients. They try to keep the total admissions & discharges at less than 4 per day. No doctor gets more than 2 or 3 per day. The locums will need to do histories but they have a PA that does the physical exams. Notes can be handwritten or dictated, whichever the doctor prefers. NO ON CALL coverage will be needed.
