Staff Psychiatrist for inpatient Adult or Child/Adolescent services.
If the physician is a General Psychiatrist the caseload will be for adults only and if a child Psychiatrist, the caseload will include child and adolescents in the caseload. Arbour Health System is centrally located in the Boston area of Jamaica Plain.
Position is fulltime or if part-time must be able to work a Monday - Friday schedule. Duties include admission evaluations and daily care of patients assigned to caseload. Physician will be treatment team leader responsible for establishing treatment objectives for patients and providing supervision to staff on the team. No call is required and any opted for is additionally compensated. Caseload is very manageable and there is an excellent team of colleagues.
Arbour Hospital provides multidisciplinary treatment programs to children, adolescents, adults and senior patient populations. Programs serve patients with general psychiatric and dual diagnoses issues as well as there are several other specialty treatment programs.
