The facility has an inpatient unit, a crisis stabilization unit and an outpatient clinic. The ages of the patients are 19-65. The case load is typically 8 patients. The average length of stay is 15 to 22 days. They average 1-2 admissions/discharges per day. The doctor needs to be computer literate because notes are entered into an electronic medical record. This psychiatrist may need to relieve the on call doctor at times so that would mean working 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. There may be on call needed.
