Medical Director - Clinical/Administrative Position

Medical Director for inpatient and outpatient programs for adolescents and adults. Duties for the position will include daily clinical care of assigned patients including admission evaluations, treatment team leadership and interaction with clinical and other physician staff.

The Medical Director will also have administrative/supervisory duties over staff and other physicians as well as work with program development, referral source development, medical staff committees and quality management. Clinical programs are offered in multidisciplinary treatment settings. Work setting is a collegial professional environment where there is opportunity to work with a qualified team of other physicians and therapists. There is limited week night and weekend call. The compensation plan includes salary and benefits. Ideal candidates will be BE/BC in Psychiatry.

Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health System is a 77-bed private behavioral health treatment facility for adolescents and adults. We offer diverse general and specialty psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment programs. We will be expanding by an additional 39 beds late 2007 - some of the additional beds accommodating a program for children. The facility is located in Radcliff, Kentucky near Elizabethtown. We have semi-private patient rooms, a spacious cafeteria, gymnasium, art/activity room, group rooms, classrooms, teams course and other areas to create a comfortable atmosphere for patients.
