A hospital in southern Georgia is seeking a Psychiatrist for a locum-to-permanent opportunity in its expanding Psychiatry department. This hospital is licensed for 433 beds and you will be responsible for 10-15 adult & adolescent patients per day including both outpatients and inpatients. Cases include bipolar disorders, schizophrenia, chemical dependency and other personality disorders. Electronic medical records are utilized and complete radiology and lab services are available. Hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Ideal candidates for this opportunity will be Board Certified or Board Eligible and must have a current Georgia medical license, although licensing will be considered for an exceptional candidate. You have the option to work as a locum for a minimum of 2 weeks before agreeing to a permanent arrangement.
