Atlanta GA - Inpatient and Outpatient - Predominant Geriatric Services

Staff Psychiatrist for combined inpatient and outpatient consult position caring for a predominant geriatric age patient population. Physician duties include care of patients in a progressive multidisciplinary treatment team environment staffed and supported by highly qualified clinical staff and other physicians. In addition to morning inpatient work on the Geriatric and Adult Unit the physician will also do scheduled nursing home consults/rounds in the afternoon.

Duties include initial evaluations and assessments, treatment team leadership and management of daily care of patients assigned. Ideal candidates will be BE/BC in General/Geriatric Psychiatry with experience treating geriatric patients in both the hospital and nursing home environment. This is a fulltime position offering salary and full benefits or will consider part-time.
