Hospital offers opportunity for psychiatrist to work on three units where the total census runs 27. Another psychiatrist works on the inpatient service but there are 6 psychiatrists in the department. Psychiatrists see adults, geriatrics and addictions. Call is 1 in 6 weekends and every fifth weekday by phone. The length of stay on the geriatric unit us 7 days, the addiction and adult units is 5.
Hospital offers an income guarantee for the first year in an area where one is sure to earn significantly. Psychiatrists easily earn around $200,000.
