Behavioral Health Center in the FL panhandle is seeking an Adult Psych for an inpatient/outpatient position. This is a large nonprofit behavioral health center affiliated with a large 490 bed hospital facility. The Center has a full range of services including vocational services and child welfare services. The inpatient doctors work at the Crisis Stabilization Unit as well as the hospitals Behavioral Medicine center. This is an employed position, offering a competitive salary plus a rich benefits package. Call will be an average of every 8 weeks, although our Doctors are able to request more or less depending on preference. Call consists of being available through phones Monday-Thursday and rounding without phones at the Crisis Stabilization Unit (30 adult beds.) Average patient load is 17 patients per day. There are 3 physicians on shift at all times. Come enjoy their beautiful white beaches and the Gulf of Mexico.
Practice is located in the Panhandle of Florida and has local population of 65,000. Tourism and retirement is this citys economic base. Excellent education system for children and several 4 year and community colleges available for higher education. Full of culture, outdoor adventure, fine museums and attractions, and 52 miles of beaches that have remained untouched through the centuries.
