Caseload Summary:
The facility preference is for a psychiatrist who is experience seeing adolescents. However, we will accept an adult psychiatrist. They will have a mixed caseload of inpatient and partial hospitalization patients. Average daily patient contacts are 15 -16. Patient contacts include initial psychiatric assessment, medication checks, second opinions, and discharges. Average Length of Stay for inpatient is 7 days, 10 sessions for Partial Hospitalization. We have 8 admissions a day between inpatient and partial divided between the three attending psychiatrist. An Advance Practice RN has been hired and starts the first of May to provide support for the attending.
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday 8- 5 1 night a week on-call (telephonic only) No weekends, no holidays No travel, all rounds are on hospital campus
