This is for vacation and weekend coverage. They need someone for 1 weekend for 4 hours a day. It is 75% adult, 20% adolescent, 5% geriatric. It is 100% inpatient. 34 beds/16 adolescent beds. There are 2-6 psychiatrist on unit. The are 0-8 admissions and discharges per day. The average length of stay is 4.5 days. The notes are either dictated or handwritten. The internal medicine doc handles the H&P's. There will be one night of call max, one or 2 weekend a months. The will be a max of 10 patients seen on rounds in 1 or 2 days on weekends. This is in the Denver area. 15 miles from Denver and 10 from Boulder. Size of community-25,000; county-250,000; SMSA 1,500,000. Northcentral Colorado at base of Rocky Mountains-very desirable location.
