Adolescent Psychiatrist

Our Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified Adolescent Psychiatrist, MS licensed or in process. This opportunity is for a Gulf Oaks Hospital, a service of our Medical Center, that is a free standing facility with 45 beds. Of the 45 beds, 34 are adult beds and 11 are adolescent beds. Physician needs to be willing to see some adult patients. Call would be 1:3. We are accepting CVs for Board Certified/Board Eligible Psychiatrists, MS licensed or in process. Our facility is a 153 bed facility, 170,000 square feet and 6 stories. Gulf Oaks is a 2-story building with 45 beds, a day school and an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). The health system has approximately 6,900 admissions annually with over 31,000 emergency room visits and serves the 6 southern counties of MS. The projected population for this service area in the year 2009 is 536,000. Also, the emergency room has over 26,000 ER visits annually.
