Scott & White and Texas A&M College of Medicine Department of Surgery are seeking BC/BE Plastic Surgeons to join our established Division at our main campus Temple. The division presently consists of 6 full-time faculty physicians, committed to quality care delivery enhanced by resident and student education. The candidates should possess specialty/fellowship training, but could participate in all aspects of plastic surgery, including cosmetic surgery. Specifically, there is currently a need for a Craniofacial fellowship trained individual. In addition to clinical services, teaching of plastic surgery residents and medical students is included with an academic appointment through the Texas A&M University System Health Science Center College of Medicine. Experienced individuals could be candidates for advancement to Director of the Division of Plastic Surgery in 1-2 yrs.

The Scott & White System is comprised of 4 hospitals, including a Thomsen top 15 teaching hospital in Temple, TX, 21 regional clinics, and a nationally recognized health plan serving over 200,000 members. Several strong basic and translational research programs are housed in modern facilities located on the Scott & White and TAMHSC campuses allowing for research collaborations. Candidates must be Board Certified with a distinguished record in clinical care, education, and research, as well as inspirational leadership ability to ensure the excellence of medical education and the clinical practice of a rapidly growing health system. Academic appointment at either the Associate Professor or Professor level through TAMHSC, commensurate with a candidates qualifications and experience. Temple is centrally located, just 1 hour north of Austin and an easy drive to Dallas-Ft. Worth, Houston and San Antonio. It serves as the Central Texas hub, with a regional population base of more than 250,000.
