We are screening for a Pediatric Private Organization with four offices as well as an office in the county health department and a fifth office opening this spring. The offices are located in southeastern North Carolina; and are approximately one and a half hours from the North Carolina and South Carolina beaches, and about three hours from the mountains.
The provider staff consists of thirteen physicians and nine midlevel providers (physician assistants and nurse practitioners) and 84 support staff An average workweek is from 8 am to 5 pm four days a week, with one day off per week. Call responsibilities are for the office-based physicians is one in five on average, with some months having no call due to the number of physicians rotating on the call schedule. Our hospitalist works Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm with optional call responsibilities. Regular locum coverage is available from Friday evening to Monday morning, eliminating weekend call responsibilities for our regular staff (except on rare occasions).
