North Carolina Pediatrics

Our Childrens Hospital, , is currently recruiting a second BC/BE Pediatric Endocrinologist to join their patient centered medical staff located in Asheville, NC. The Pediatric Endocrinology Program is devoted to a comprehensive team approach. There is a full support staff including a full time physician assistant, nurses, dieticians, SW and CDEs. Responsibilities include inpatient and outpatient management of children with a wide array of endocrine issues. Asheville offers an unsurpassed quality of life & recreational opportunities.

Responsibilities include:

"Evaluation and management of children with endocrine problems.

"Working closely with physicians, nutritionists, nurses, and social workers.

"Care coordination with primary care physicians, subspecialists, schools, and others.

At our facility we know that children have unique needs.

We also believe that families belong together, especially during times of illness and hospitalization.

This sensitivity allows us to create an atmosphere where parents and children feel comfortable and understood.

Beginning in 1885 with our second ever patient, a newborn whose mother was our very first patient, our Hospitals has been caring for and treating children in this area for over 120 years.
