New York, right between Albany and Syracuse BC/BE pediatrician needed for a rural pediatric practice. Practice currently has 3 pediatricians (full time) and one part time. Clinic hours are Mon-Fri: 8-5pm. Call is less than 1:5 phone and inpatient. Call is mainly caring for newborns and admitted ped patients, also attending C-sections and high risk deliveries at local 180 bed hospital. Tertiary care for transfers is provided by Albany Medical center. Physician is also required to participate in a School based health program 1 day per month. Participation also required for teaching 3rd year residents, 1 clinic per week/32 clinics per year. The practice has EMR. Comprehensive benefits plan offers 3 weeks vacation, 6 paid holidays, and 5 paid personal days. CME up to $4000.
