Job Job Recruiting
We are seeking a BE/BC Pediatrician to join our multi-specialty clinic group of employed physicians. The Community. Espaola is a community located in beautiful Northern New Mexico, just 25 miles north of Santa Fe, in the heart of the middle Rio Grande Valley. It lies between the 12,000-foot Jemez Mountains and the 13,000-foot Sangre de Cristo Mountains to the east. The community's central location provides easy access to the diverse wonders of northern New Mexico. The community is home to a population of approximately 12,000, and provides ample recreational opportunities including downhill and cross-country skiing (Taos, Santa Fe and Los Alamos ski areas within 40 minutes); nearby lakes (Abiquiu, Herron, Santa Cruz and El Vado); and nearby camping and hiking, with easy access to National Forest lands and Wilderness areas. We enjoy four distinct seasons, with blue skies and sunshine prominent through each. The Hospital. The Espaola Hospital is a division of Healthcare Services, a New Mexico nonprofit corporation. More New Mexicans are served by Presbyterian through our health insurance, primary and acute care, long-term care, home care and rehabilitation than any other healthcare organization in New Mexico. Presbyterian Healthcare Services is New Mexico's only locally-owned, private not-for-profit healthcare organization. The hospital is an 80-bed acute care facility, fully accredited by JCAHO. In 1995, a multi-specialty clinic offering family practice, surgical, OB/Gyn, internal medicine and pediatric services was opened under the auspices of the hospital. There are a total of 30 physicians on the active medical staff with varying specialties. In addition, the Espaola Urgent Care is staffed by master's-level Family Nurse Practitioners, and offers an alternative to the emergency room in many situations. The urgent care center is open 12 hours a day. The Package. This position will be filled by an employed physician, who will enjoy participation in the full benefits package offered to comparable physician employees of Healthcare Services. These benefits medical coverage, vision care, dental coverage, disability insurance, life insurance, accidental death or dismemberment, and professional development. Employees may also establish healthcare and/or dependent care spending accounts with pre-tax dollars. In addition, we offer two retirement vehicles for our employees (1) a qualified defined benefit plan which is completely employer-funded; and (2) a Defined Contribution Plan [403(b)], which offers employees an opportunity to invest in a variety of investment options (administered through MetLife), while earning employer-matching contributions (subject to vesting and eligibility requirements). Presbyterian Healthcare Services also provides paid malpractice insurance for its employed physicians. EOE. More information: Contact me with the information listed below.
