Southwestern MA Join a physician group practice corporation. Call 1:4, level I Nursery with 650 deliveries per year. Birthing Center has 10 licensed Bassinets. Call coverage includes Birthing Center and Outpatient office call. There is Nurse Triage who take the first call to decide whether it needs to go to the doctor or not. Also the Nursing Staff at the Birthing Center encourage new mothers to call them with routine questions which greatly reduces the number of calls to the doctors. The Pediatricians do occasionally have to cover a C-Section but since it is a level I Nursery not all C-Sections require coverage. Doctor must have NALS and PALS. Mainly Outpatient job. Income guarantee for the first two years of between $140-160K, then transitions to a percentage of collections. Excellent benefits package
