1) Northern CT Busy Pediatric group looking for a doctor to replace retiring doctor in group of four, very busy practice, wonderful group to work for. Call will be 1:5, new OB/GYN in area so they expect business will increase even more. Patient volume is about 25 a day. Partnership in two years, hospital has just broken ground on a major renovation of the their Nursery and OB unit

2) Central CT Work for one of the largest multispecialty groups in the area. They currently have four openings. One is part-time and three are full-time. Work in various locations all within 30 minutes of Hartford. No C-Section or Delivery coverage required. Competitive salary and benefits, flexible schedule available for part-time and one of the full-time practices.

3) Hartford Area, CT Looking for a part-time Pediatrician with a strong interest in Maternal-Infant care to oversee babies in the Newborn Nursery as well as the Special Care Unit (level IIA-Infants must be 33 weeks or older and non-ventilated). Regular schedule is Monday-Friday 8 am-1 pm. Call is 1:7. Position inculsed Rounding on Babies, performing or supervising Circumsicions, performing and assisting with resuscitations, stabilizations and/or transport as needed. Pediatricians do not normally attend C-Sections or Deliveries unless it is a multiple birth. Hospital is transitioning to EMR. Competitive salary and benefits package.

4) Southern Coastal NH Experienced doctor wanted to join one doctor and a N/P in a very busy practice no longer able to take new patients. Call 1:2 hospital, 1:3 phone. Round on newborns 3 days a week. Competitive salary and benefits. Or work for a practice with a 1:7 call.

5) Southern NH Work for an Academic multispecialty group adding a doctor due to growth. Doctors will do some Inpatient and Rounding on Newborns in a Level II Nursery. Generous salary and benefits. Income Guarantee for 2 years, then Productivity.

7) Southeastern MA Pediatric Hospitalist opportunity - Seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist Leader to develop a new Pediatric Hospitalist program. -Position is 1/3 Administrative and 2/3 Clinical -Administrative responsibilities: program development and oversight, and recruiting 5 staff Hospitalists. Dedication to quality improvement, staff Development and teaching of physician and nursing staff is essential. -Clinical Duties: Attend deliveries and care for neonates in our level 1 nursery(600 Deliveries per year);Care for children admitted to our 13 bed self-contained Pediatric Unit; Staff after-hours urgent care clinic; Consult for Emergency Room staff regarding care of Medically complex children. -Faculty appointment with large hospital system and approximately 1 month annually spent on their wards, NICU, ED. Clinical ties will include planned Telemedicine Links, participation in morning report, grand rounds. They are also seeking 5 Hospitalists to staff the program. Candidates should be Board Certified in Pediatrics, and have demonstrated clinical, leadership, and administrative skills

8) Western, MA Looking for a B/C, MA licensed doctor to join a group practice, call is every third or fourth weekend with some weekday call although it is very light as they use a Triage service. Full time is 4 days, 32 hours although they would consider a part-time doctor. Immediate need.

9) South of Boston (1-1.5 hrs), MA Join a hospital employed position with 3 other doctors and 1 NP. Call 1:5 Excellent salary and benefits package plus quarterly bonus, wonderful location and group with flexibility emphasizing quality of life. The practice is located 8 minutes from the hospital. Round on patients in the hospital and only attend c-sections if requested by the ob/gyn which does not happen too often.

10) Boston area, MA Work in a Community Health Center, call is 1:3, totally Outpatient call. 5 day work week, 35 hours, some flexibility in the scheduling. Salary starting in the $120-130K range. Bilingual in Spanish a big plus. Sorry no Visa issues.

11) Southwestern MA Join a physician group practice corporation. Call 1:4, level I Nursery with 650 deliveries per year. Birthing Center has 10 licensed Bassinets. Call coverage includes Birthing Center and Outpatient office call. There is Nurse Triage who take the first call to decide whether it needs to go to the doctor or not. Also the Nursing Staff at the Birthing Center encourage new mothers to call them with routine questions which greatly reduces the number of calls to the doctors. The Pediatricians do occasionally have to cover a C-Section but since it is a level I Nursery not all C-Sections require coverage. Doctor must have NALS and PALS. Mainly Outpatient job. Income guarantee for the first two years of between $140-160K, then transitions to a percentage of collections. Excellent benefits package.

12) Western MA Join a multispecialty group Join a multispecialty group with over 65 physicians including primary care and specialists all under one roof. EMR in place. Income guarantee plus productivity and membership in the group after 2 yrs.

13) Boston Suburbs MA Seeking a ped for this leading multispecialty care practices in the Greater Boston area that has been caring for patients for 70 years. The offices are conveniently located in the greater Boston area and the physicians work with community-based hospitals and nationally-recognized medical centers in Boston.

14) Central ME Join a multispecialty group with 3 other Pediatricians, call is 1:4 to cover a Level II Nursery. See 25 patients a day except in the Winter when it can go as high as 35. They average 2-3 Inpatients daily. Office located right next to the hospital. 4 day work week, 5 weeks off including a week of CME, Loan repayment all part of excellent benefits package.

16) Southern Coastal ME This is an employed, solo position with 1 NP who has been there for 10 yrs. It is an existing, busy pracgice; 4 day work week. Located 15-20 minutes from the hospital; 30-35 pts/day with NP assistance; see newborn-21 yrs old; call 1:7; Attend c-sections which are about 6/yr; NP takes first call; some rounding, but the position is mostly outpatient. Excellent opportunity to join a very busy practice, competitive salary and benefits.

17)Southern Coastal ME Join hospital based practice with 2 other doctors, call 1:3 but they only have about 20 births a month so it is not arduous. Competitive salary and benefits include 4 day work week, 30 days off annually.

Located about 50 miles from Buffalo on Lake Erie, this practice is well-established and the doctor will be busy from day one. Call is 1:2, must cover C-Sections and Deliveries (approximately 200 annually). Partnership track, income guarantee of $135K with Productivity based incentives. Relocation, signing bonus and loan repayment available in addition to full range of benefits. Will look at Visa candidates.

22) Upstate NY Join a private practice with 2 other peds, call 1:9 with other community physicians; inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, full benefit package. Admit to a 287 bed hospital with a service area of over 200,000.

23) Upstate NY - Neonatologist Solo, private practice; 12 bed level II NICU; Salary $180K; 287 bed hospital with a service area of over 200,000.

24) Long Island, NY Join a well-established, private, primary care pediatric practice with two full-time, board certified pediatricians and a certified pediatric nurse practitioner. The practice is located in a new, well-equipped facility in a beautiful seaside community with excellent schools and a two-hour commute to New York City. There is no attendance required at routine Caesarian Sections. Duties will include on call every 3rd weekend and 1/3 nights. 26) Southern VT Work for a private practice with a 1:6 call, one doctor is retiring in 2009 and they need to replace him. They will consider both full and part time. Cover C-Sections and Deliveries but there arent a lot of Deliveries annually Competitive salary and benefits, partnership opportunity.

27) Northeast Kingdom, VT Looking for a Pediatrician to join a well-established private practice with a 1:4 call, coverage of C-Sections and Deliveries required but there are not a lot of births annually. Excellent salary and benefits.

28) North Central VT Full time pediatric position with a hospital owned practice located in a beautiful newer building with a great reputation and an established patient base. The following are some highlights: Competitive salary, vacation, CME and retirement (403(b) Approx $150k per year based on a seasoned pediatrician (higher/lower based on candidate) Pediatricians do attend c-sections and it is actually part of the normal call schedule. However, during the day when they are in the office each doc has a day assigned to them for the day hours only (8am to 5pm). Small critical access hospital. We do not have a pediatric unit. We do have a beautiful birthing center. If a newborn becomes ill, they are transferred Hospital work would be minimal in this position. The full time position is a 4-day work week, salaried. Usually 25 days of vacation (holidays included), 8 days of CME, sign-on bonus and relocation expenses. They do have evening and weekend hours, however, all docs share and rotate.
