KRC.0808.0704.09 Pediatrician position available for a hospital-employed and managed practice located in a new clinic on the hospital campus. The community and hospital are growing. The hospital service area is 45,000 and they expect 30,000 new residents within the next six years. Over the next two years, the hospital is undergoing a 34 million dollar expansion.

The new pediatrician will join additional pediatrician on staff. The salary range is $140,000 - $150,000, negotiable, plus producitivity incentive options. Benefits include retirement, four weeks paid vacation, sick leave, paid CME, disability and life insurance, family medical, dental, and optical insurance, cafeteria plans, and paid malpractice insurance. This community is located in the beautiful flint hills of Northeast Kansas, within driving distance of Topeka and Kansas City. There is a lake just five miles away with an extensive shoreline. Favorite past-times are raising and riding horses, hunting, fishing, attending nearby college athletics and theater, and shopping. Children's sports are very popular and plentiful as well. There is a large free Independence Day celebration held here as well. It lasts four days and includes a water show, large parade, music and food in the park, kids activities, and more. There is one high school, two middle schools, and 13 elementary schools in the public school system. In addition, there are two private schools (K-12).
