Excellent opportunity for BC/BE Pediatric to join Medical Group, Inc., a 269 member multi-specialty group providing services for residents in Stanislaus and San Joaquin communities for over 50 years. Traditional Pediatric-outpatient in an office and inpatient in a community hospital with few pediatric subspecialists. Responsible for covering a level 1 nursery. There is no neonatologist on staff (although they are accessible by phone) so our group is on call for high risk deliveries. We stabilize and ship.

Community Information

The city of Lodi has a population of over 64,000, located in San Joaquin County about 30 minutes south of Sacramento, California. Napa Valley and Lake Tahoe are an hour and a half away while Yosemite is only two hours to the south. Because of its central location, Lodi is an increasingly popular exurb for commuters from Sacramento and the San Francisco Bay areas. Lodi's downtown has recently been renovated with charming brick streets and a variety of shops, restaurants and two local breweries.

Lodi is best known as a center of wine production and in recent years has become increasingly respected for its Zinfandel wine and varietals. Nearby Woodbridge is the home of famous Robert Mondavi winery, Mondavi Woodbridge.
