Opportunity Overview: We are seeking a Spanish-speaking BC/BE Pediatrician for our client's thriving practice in metropolitan Phoenix. This is a fantastic, employed position offering a weekday, clinic-only schedule, with no call required. 35-40 average patients per day. Hospitalist service is available in all surrounding hospitals, but client will give preference to candidates who enjoy inpatient work and would be willing to incorporate hospital rounds (newborns) into their schedule once they've had a chance to get established clinically . Our client has been serving children in metropolitan Phoenix and suburban Tempe for over 20 years. and are highly respected in the community. Their patient base is primary Spanish-speaking, so it is critical that candidates are conversationally fluent. The practice currently has three providers (1 MD and 2 PAs) and will consider full-time candidates only as they are always busy! They have own two spacious clinics, one in Phoenix and the other just a few minutes to the east in Tempe.
This is a solo opportunity with full hospital support. First year is on a income guarantee with a three year loan forgivness. Outpatient work only, no inpatient. Call is 1:5, soon to go to 1:6, but only to cover unassigned Peds patients in the ER. You just consult and or stabilize then transfer to Phoenix or Las Vegas. You must be present at C-sections and check on other births within 12 hours. The salary will be based on the MGMA medium-Nice relocation package, sign on bonus, and marketing expense to get you started. Both a water lover's paradise and a desert lover's dream.
