Portland, Oregon -- Providence Health & Services is seeking an outstanding pediatric surgeon to join us in the Portland area. Excellent opportunity for experienced surgeon to help guide further development of our growing program. Will work at two facilities in Portland. Robust and qualified support includes NICU, MFM, Pediatric Hospitalist and Pediatric Emergency specialists. Full time, excellent benefits and generous salary-plus-productivity model.

Opportunity is with a busy solo practitioner providing the full range of pediatric surgical care. Located on the beautiful west Portland campus of Providence St. Vincent Medical Center, one of the largest (523 beds) and most advanced hospitals in the Pacific Northwest. Collegial interdisciplinary team with excellent support staff, including specialized midlevel providers. Part of a growing pediatric program with robust cross-specialty support within Providence, which operates St. Vincent and two other hospitals in Portland as well as the renowned Providence Child Center.

Conveniently located near Highway 26 in west Portland, Providence St. Vincent Medical Center is Oregon's oldest (founded in 1875) and largest (523 beds) hospital. It also provides some of the state's most advanced cardiovascular care and research. The medical center houses Providence Heart and Vascular Institute, directed by world-renowned heart surgeon Dr. Albert Starr, recipient of the 2007 Albert Lasker Clinical Medical Research Award. The Institute's cardiologists and surgeons utilize robotic-assisted cardiac surgery and advanced laser technologies, and are often among the first in the world to offer innovative therapies to patients.
