Anchorage, Alaska -- Providence Alaska Medical Center is seeking BE/BC pediatric surgeon to join our busy clinic. Statewide referrals. Clinic is part of The Children's Hospital at Providence with all pediatric sub-specialty representation. Level-three nursery. Full benefits, malpractice and competitive compensation.
The Children's Hospital at Providence (TCHAP) is the only comprehensive Children's Hospital in Alaska, with 10-bed PICU, 20-bed med/surg unit, and a 44-bed NICU (including private suites of family centered care). There are more than 2,000 Pediatric/PICU admissions per year, with 3,000 deliveries per year including high risk perinatology program. TCHAP is a Member of the National Association of Children's Hospital (NACHRI) and embraces best practice Family-Centered Care Philosophy. Comprehensive subspecialty care includes centers of excellence in children's cancer, diabetes, cystic fibrosis, children with special needs, and genetics collaborative.
With 364 beds and a medical staff of 600, Providence Alaska Medical Center is the most comprehensive tertiary facility in the state and the only one with a dedicated Children's Hospital. Physicians enjoy broad cross-specialty support as well as flexible arrangements to meet individual needs. The campus is blessed with incredible mountain views and frequent wildlife sightings.
