KRC.0210.0305.13C Pathologist needed for a great hospital and community! Position start date: 2011. 105-bed hospital would like to add a board certified/eligible Pathologist to their team. The hospital has several employment models depending on the physician's need. The options include hospital employed, physician owned practice, solo, etc. The call coverage varies depending on the employment model. Hospital services include: acute care, skilled nursing, OB/GYN, ICU, ER, Behavioral Health, Surgery, Home Health, all clinical ancillary services, and Cancer Treatment Center.
The salary is negotiable and competitive. Great benefits package including PTO, health insurance, retirement, and malpractice. Relocation costs provided, as well as possible loan repayment and CME allowance. This facility would prefer candidates that are available in 2011/2012.
Known for its heavy industry, this Southeast Kansas community boasts a strong economic base. It is a thriving manufacturing community best known for its friendly people, Community College Football and Basketball programs, the demise of the Dalton Gang in 1842, and Amazon.com's largest fulfillment center. A strong school system from kindergarten through community college is one of the main attractions, as the community boasts the Community Elementary School, a new facility completed in August 2004. It is one of the largest elementary schools in the state.
