With a service area of over 30,000, there is more than enough demand for a full-time OTO. Local primary care physicians have unanimously expressed support for bringing in the community's first OTO. The hospital's OR staff is experienced and efficient; anesthesia coverage is provided by competent CRNAs. Overall OR volume at the hospital has increased by 28% over the past five years.

Forrest City is a friendly community of 15,000 with a low cost of living, proximity to a number of nearby lakes, recreational areas and outdoor activities, and interstate access to both Memphis and Little Rock. Our Medical Center was acquired in March 2006 by Community Health Systems (CHS), the nation's second largest hospital owner/operator. Our facility has been serving the residents of St. Francis and its neighboring counties for more than twenty-five years and offers emergency services, obstetrics, a nursery, pediatric services, cardiac services, imaging services, a GI/Endoscopy Lab, outpatient surgery, and laboratory services among others.

The facility campus encompasses 55 acres including the adjoining physician office park, built in 1983.
