KRC.0808.1405.05 Orthopedic Surgeon to join established Orthopedic practice in a brand-new, attractive office setting with ample space. The medical office is located at the hospital. Surgeon would join one other physician in practice, with two other orthopedic surgeons in town to share call. Referral base is ready-made.
With 105 beds, the community hospital services include pediatrics, OB, general surgery, medical, ICU, inpatient rehabilitation, gero-psychiatry unit, and emergency department. This hospital is a top-performer with outstanding physician-administration-board of directors relationships. This expanding facility consists of nearly 60 active-status physicians. Full-time hospitalists available to all medical staff and there is full-time physician coverage in the emergency department. The medical staff, board of directors, and hospital administration have built outstanding and understanding relationships among each other, and there is a general atmosphere of open communication, loyalty, and trust among the entities. The three entities strive to provide excellent care to the citizens of the geographic locale, and believe that the superior relationships are key to the growth of the facility and local medical practices.
Ample call coverage exists in community-wide call rotation and hospitalists are available. The hospital will provide an attractive income guarantee to support the additional physician joining the existing practice. Benefit package offered may include loan repayment, as well as relocation, and CME allowance. Contract duration is 24 month income guarantee, with a three-year forgiveness period.
