Pennsylvania Orthopedic Surgery

Susquehanna Health is seeking two (2) BC/BE fellowship trained Orthopaedic Surgeons (Foot & Ankle, Shoulder/Upper Extremity) to join two (2) others in a busy group practice here in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. The call rotation would be 1:8 as there are four (4) others in private practice. This new practice is located on the Divine Providence Hospital campus adjacent to an 8000 sq ft., outpatient physical therapy department with aquatic rehab facilities. Teaching is available as, we have a Family Medicine Residency and we are affiliated with the new medical school here in Pennsylvania as one of their clinical sites. We are self insured for malpractice and tail insurance. We may also be able to financially assist you while you complete your last year of fellowship.

We offer comprehensive inpatient and outpatient musculoskeletal care from our; CARF accredited Gibson Rehabilitation Center, inpatient orthopedic unit, Neuroscience Center at the Williamsport Hospital to our Outreach Athletic Training Services and Sports Medicine Center at Divine Providence Hospital. We have the latest imaging technology with PAC in our physician offices to our surgical suites.

Susquehanna Health consists of three hospitals and a multi-specialty group practice employing over 100 physicians. The Williamsport Hospital and Medical Center is a 230 bed regional referral Center, Divine Providence Hospital has outpatient services, a surgicenter and a 30 -bed inpatient Behavioral Health Center, Muncy Valley Hospital is a 25 bed critical access hospital with a 138 bed long-term care facility. Susquehanna Health is embarking on a $250 million hospital expansion project. There are numerous specialty and sub-specialty practices to refer to and consult with for your patients.
