Two physicians in a private practice work from a modern, well equipped 180 bed hospital facility. Call will be shared equally. Someone wishing to do spine surgery would be a plus. Growing community of 25,000 is located 30 miles from Raleigh. Due to the continued growth, the hospital is also building an additional surgery center, and medical office complex 12 miles away.
Hospital offers the following options to a new surgeon:
A) An income guarantee from the hospital, which could move into an association.
B) Hospital would offer to employ a physician for the first year, and then they could look at an association after that time frame.
Located 28 miles southeast of Raleigh, North Carolina's capital city, the community is a classic Southern small town with just over 11,000 residents. Good public schools system with the opportunity for higher education at Johnston Community College and several four year colleges in Raleigh area.
