KRC.0909.1201.28C Orthopedic Surgeon opportunity available for a BC/BE candidate in a very busy group practice with 3 other orthopedists. Would prefer candidates to have an interest in spine, foot, or ankle specialties or any subspecialty besides total joints. Each physician in the practice sees about 50 patients per day. Over 45 surgical cases are performed by the group each week with 15 of those being inpatient and 30 outpatient surgeries. There are usually about 6-10 new patients each week with a wait time of about 1 week. This practice works very hard to see patients ASAP. The new physician will be very busy particularly if they are interested in spine cases. Call time is 1:4. This is a very well established group with a strong patient base and large service area. The practice is located near the admitting hospital. The physician will only be working at the admitting hospital.

Income guarantee for the first year is $350,000-$400,000 and includes a $30,000 sign on bonus. Student loan repayment is available up to $100,000 and relocation up to $10,000. The position includes PTO, CME, and a comprehensive employee benefits package. A partnership option is available after 1 year with a minimum buy-in.

The admitting facility is a 109-bed acute, intensive and skilled care hospital serving a six-county area. Without a doubt this hospital's strength is its complement of 37 physicians representing over 15 medical specialties, including anesthesiology, cardiology, otolaryngology, family practice, internal medicine, obstetrics & gynecology, ophthalmology, neurology, pathology, pediatrics, radiology, emergency medicine, and general, vascular, thoracic, urological, orthopedic and oncological surgery.
