A clinic in the north Houston, Texas area is currently searching for Occupational Medicine coverage to begin May 18th, 2008 and continue until a permanent candidate is found. Standard hours are Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. There is no call or weekend work. Ideal candidates will be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Occupational Medicine or FP, IM or Urgent Care with Occupational Medicine experience. The candidate should be comfortable with suturing, splinting, eye injuries and minor urgent cases. This opportunity is mainly injury care. Strong computer skills are a must. Patient volume is between 30-40 patients per day with the help of a support staff of a Medical Assistant and an Office Manager. There is onsite x-ray and physical therapy as well.
